Petrol price hike special edition photos

You don’t like it. I don’t like it. Nobody likes it except petrol station owners. Maybe last night alone they were making more than that they are making for a whole usual month.
Petrol price up by 78 sen, which is about 40%. That’s a very hefty hike indeed! And it wasn’t surprise to see so many drivers rushing into petrol stations to refuel their tanks. I was on LDP last night and I could see that parts of the highway almost paralyzed because of those horrific jams!

BHPetrol stations are usually quiet, but last night it was perhaps their best day in many years! Huge amounts of traffic queening for BHPetrol fuels just to have a last taste of cheaper fuel! Hahaha… that was a sight to be captured and remembered!

Business was unusually super brisk at all other petrol stations too. This particular Mobil gas station was full of cars. The queue stretched all the way onto the highway as far as your eyes can reach! 2 or 3 kilometers long? Can you believe it? I believe by the speed it was going perhaps you need to wait up to an hour for your turn to reach the gas pump. How could these people be so patient to wait in the line… anyway, for RM50 worth of saving, perhaps it’s all worth it!

There you are. 3 photos for the remembrance of this historical day in Malaysia. Petrol price hike. Lucky for me as I didn’t have to queue up because I had already filled my petrol tank to the brink earlier yesterday morning. I somehow had this foretell power. ![]()
