You know I like taking pictures, especially beautiful women. But not many know that I do take pictures of whatever I find interesting and weird enough, this usually include food I eat. Let me show you some food pictures, or more precisely what I had for lunch today.
A&W Root Beer. This is of course the authentic root beer drink only available at A&W fast food restaurant. This glass was an upgraded one with two scoops of ice cream.
By the way, this root beer is so synonymous to A&W that their domain name is rootbeer.com.my. 
This is of course the curly fries, which you should absolutely not miss if you went to A&W. Although this restaurant’s French fries is hard and not any better than that you get at your neighborhood coffee shop, the curly fries is not what you can get elsewhere.
Okay, now that you have seen the root beer and the curly fries, what else do you want to see? Okay, how about the sauces?
Haha… those are the sauces given. Chili and tomatoes sauces.
Looking at the nice bokeh, you can guess what lens I used to take those pictures? But before you make a guess, you have to see this nice ice cream waffle. Vanilla ice cream with strawberry topping.

Okay, now that I have finished the ice cream waffle, it’s time for you to make a guess on the lens I used to take the above photos. I didn’t use any flash as it was in a restaurant, didn’t want to attract any unnecessary glances. So, any guesses?
Anyway, viewing those photos on my PC, I think the blurring is slightly too much. Perhaps I need to use smaller aperture. What do you think?
There you are, a few food photos for your viewing pleasure on the Monday morning. Not bad having these for breakfast on the morning of the start of a marvellous week eh?

My first date was in A&W. My wife is still keeping the little souvenir when we bought the rootbeer. Well, well… that was 24 years ago!

A&W’s French fries are hard!?? I personally prefer them to those of McD.
McD recently introduced onion rings - limited period, I suppose - but also not as good as what I get in A&W.
Still, McD is doing better than A&W, business-wise. Something is not right with A&W.

Yes, somehow the A&W french fries I had was rather hard. I prefer McDonalds’ french fries any time.
I haven’t tried McDonalds onion rings, must try these few days!

Yes, 50mm f1.8D. But no, those shots were not taken using f/1.8. I was using f/2.2 and then switched to f/2.5 for some of those pics. But I think perhaps still too wide, if I was using f/2.8 should be nicer.

Oh! A&W, brings back so many memories of old times. I really miss their root beer and curly fries. I think it’s been a good ten years since I’ve had one of those.
the first shot got me salivating. i miss a&w. =) if it were me, i would crop the second and third shot tighter. seeing the floor under the table is a bit distracting — and not very appetizing. =) zoom in on the food and get the drippity cream or dew in focus to add yumminess.
Hoho, everyone likes the root beer but no one even mention the ice cream waffle… oh huei you did mention the waffle. Go pack some waffle and eat in the office, make your boss salivate two buckets!
