Ted Adnan teaches flash photography
Jul 19th, 2008 by Neo
I got distracted with other events and have to postpone this post about Ted Adnan whom I met at a photography talk quite some time ago. If you are not into photography, most likely you haven’t heard of his big name. But for those enthusiasts who like to take photos, Ted Adnan is a well known name.
Ted Adnan is also sometimes seen giving talks on photography, such as this one at Maju Junction where he shared some tips on flash and portrait photography.

Oh… the flash was triggered when I fired my shots. Looks really interesting, isn’t it?
Anyway, he shared some basic tips and tricks on what’s flash photography, why Nikon’s CLS (Creative Lighting System) is so special compared to traditional strobe lights, why using the built-in flash will not produce satisfactory photos, what’s bounce flash, how to setup your multiple external flashes, and etc.

I know you are interested to learn flash photography too, but it’s a little difficult for me to explain. How about we let our professional guru do it himself?! Check out the Ted Adnan’s video below and see if you could pick up a trick or two from him.
Do remember to check out Ted Adnan’s blog too. And perhaps next time we can arrange a teh tarik, satay and photography outing in Kajang, where Ted Adnan has his own workshop. Talking about satay, I haven’t had Kajang satay for ages!

I love Ted Adnan. His blog entries damn funny in BM. But very very informational and educational. Thank goodness we have people like that to share knowledge with us.
