Let’s take a break from the Putrajaya outing and have some donuts and coffee. Which place is better to have some good donuts and a cup of refreshing coffee if it wasn’t Big Apple Donuts & Coffee?
These days when you talk about donuts, the first name you think of will most certainly be J.Co Donuts, or Big Apple Donuts… and to people from Singapore you might think of Donut Empire too.
Anyway, today let’s just give Big Apple Donuts & Coffee a try. This particular outlet was located in Niu Ze Xui in Ara Damansara.
The staff there was pretty friendly too. Initially he was surprised to see my dSLR but before I managed to explain why I was there snapping photos he quickly posed for me. Perhaps he wanted to appear handsome, he even slipped down his mask.
If you need any male model for photography, go find him. Haha… 
Look at the numerous varieties of donuts cleverly put on trays for patrons to choose from. They all looked absolutely delicious and yummy!
Oh, due to some reasons I couldn’t have the donuts there as I needed to rush off early. I decided to pack a dozen back instead. No coffee this time. Next time sure will try their coffee.
Since I had not tried any of their donuts before and had no particular preference I just asked the staff to choose for me. Now, don’t look at the following picture if you had not taken your meal… otherwise you will water two buckets!
Okay… I am opening the box now…
Wow, make you water or not? These are all picked by the staff for me… except the cheese one because I like the cheesy topping! What do you think? Did he pick the best from Big Apple Donuts?
Oh, for me these donuts tasted absolutely good and they were as good as those from J.Co Donuts. I don’t think I will be able to tell the difference… not that I have eaten a lot of donuts from both outlets anyway.

anyway i tried at the same branch too at one of the weekend’s night. i got very bad cust service and lansi male employee! =S

Donuts!! Here we only have the lousy Dunkin’s Donut, and they never look that good.
Agree with cbenc12, I think J.Co and Big Apple are over-rated. Nothing special lor.
I’m surprise to see that these two donut rest are making huge attraction to crowds. Dunkin Donut has been around here for period of time already but has never drawn so much crowds like them. J.Lo and Big Apple taste almost the same, I wonder if they came from the same company.
There’s one Big Apple Donut outlet in Seremban 2 JUSCO and it has serious hygiene issue. On 2 different occasions I saw flies hopping from one donut to another in full view of the yakking staff and no one (except me) seems to think there’s anything wrong.

and yeah i also cnt tell the difference btween jco and big apple.
hehe.. but i still like Big Apple best.. i think the doughnuts are softer and tender compared to J.Co one..
