Miss Malaysia Pageant 2008

I thought it was the Miss Tourism Metropolitan 2008, but when I got there only I realized it’s the Miss Malaysia Pageant 2008 preview. Well, I think preview simply means that this was a promotional outing to entice the public to buy the tickets to go to the real show which falls on 2nd August 2008.
Anyway, as usual I still enjoyed this outing as I took quite a number of pictures. Let me show you some.
There, this photo shows all the beautiful 15 contestants. Nope, I didn’t get their names as I was too busy shooting and my secretary wasn’t with me to record their names when the emcee announced it. Perhaps next time, I should get a MP4 player which has the voice recording capability… so that I can become a real events reporter. Haha…

Contestant number 3. Hi, miss, look here please… no, she didn’t hear me.
That was the problem of coming late. I couldn’t secure a spot in the center and had to be contented with a spot at the side. But the annoying thing was that all the babes seemed to only look at the audiences and the photographers in the center of the floor. They have forgotten about us at the sides!
Young and beautiful. Do you think she has the potential to win a prize in the final?

Hmm… this girl looks really familiar. I think I have seen her in a couple of events, anyone knows her name?
Finally, the preview ended with an obligatory group photo. I have to say all of them are beautiful and has some of the qualities to become a beauty queen… but out of the 15 of them, which one is your favorite? Give your pick and let me know in the comment below.

Now I remember. And you looked great that day, and congrats for winning the title Miss Malaysia Tourism Queen of the Year. You looked marvellous in the Nikon, Nikonian and Cocorich event too!

No 9 deserved the titled and she is completely outstanding and over shined other contestants. Beauty contest is not about beauty only… you can look beauty with full makeup like a cake… but, personality is definitely the aimed goal.
So, congratulation no 9.. !!!! hai yuan…. I am proud of you… you deserved it!!!
