PIKOM PC Fair 2008 (II)
Aug 10th, 2008 by Neo
Yesterday, I brought you some photos of the magnificent Petronas Twin Towers which were captured when I went to PIKOM PC Fair last week. And I told you I will be showing you more photos from the PC Fair, and so here we are. Without further ado, let’s get inside KL Convention Center and see what’s on offer!

Out of the many items on display and on offer, this particular booth which sold Digital Photo Frames caught my interest. They came in many sizes, from 1 inch to 12 inches and perhaps more. The prices were quite affordable, the small one (third from left) cost less than RM100, but too bad it’s powered through USB cable only. In other words, you have to hook it up to a computer to operate it.
I think digital photo frames are good to have if you have a lot of photos to display. Good for people who like to take photos like myself.

Of course there were lots of people, but I think nevertheless it was still better compared to Saturday and Sunday. I could at least move around quite effortlessly and take photos. I like this girl who was dressed in this Japanese costume.

Another girl from the same booth. Simply lovely. Sorry, I was concentrating too much in capturing their beauty until I forgot which product they were promoting.

Oh, the girl from Toshiba was awesome too! I love her super friendly smile… she had certainly captured my heart! If you couldn’t have enough of her, you can see more of this girl at previous PC Fair where she was also standing for Toshiba.

Next, I stopped at the audio and video hall and guess who did I meet? No, it wasn’t Kennysia, but it was a lovely girl whom I always meet in I believe all previous PC Fairs. Check out last year’s photo, has she became more mature and prettier?

The Acer girls were not bad too, although I still love my Japanese girls the most. Haha… they were as sleek as this new Acer mini notebook.

Mini notebooks like this is becoming popular lately as I have seen quite a few names producing them. They include HP, Asus and Acer of course. Although the processing power is limited, but they are certainly very portable and lightweight. Can consider getting one, at least can be used to backup photos on the go, eh?
Wait, I have more pictures to show you… just don’t switch over to watch Olympic first.

Wow, amazingly beautiful! I especially love her blue eyes… In the event you share the same passion with me, you can use this Photoshop trick to change your eyes into blue colors too!
Now that you know I have great interest in photography, naturally I tried to look for a Nikon booth. But, no, I didn’t see any Nikon, but instead I did see the Sony counter. Without wasting a second, I came out with the following photo.

The Sony Alpha babes, Jess (left) and Maria (right)! Beautiful… just like the Sony Alpha dSLRs.
That’s the end of today’s “show”. Haha… cheers and have a great week ahead!

The kimono girls were promoting Oki printers.
I think the blue-eyed gal was wearing contact lens.
Checking out your last year’s photo … didn’t notice much about the girls but I did see your photography skill improves a lot.

Jas0n,
Big thanks from the PC Fair girls to you!
khengsiong,
OKI printers? No wonder I couldn’t remember, for me, I know Canon and Epson printers only. Hehe… not too fancy with the other brands. By the way, recently I saw a Brothers all-in-one printer at a very low price, not sure if it’s good or not since Brothers is a fairly new player in the printer market I think.
Weilian,
Practice makes perfect. Haha… and also my Photoshop touch-up skills.
TZ,
Since you went for the gym, I guess you didn’t mind walking a few meters more. lol.

Your wife will pull your eyes!
