Photo shooting with Lyndie Ong at Bukit Jalil park
Aug 19th, 2008 by Neo
It’s very uncommon for me to sacrifice a fine Sunday morning’s sleep to get up early. But I did just that last Sunday… not because I would like to drive to Klang for the breakfast but because I have a date with not one but three beautiful girls! Yes, we fixed a date at Bukit Jalil park as early as 8:30am.

Haha… jokes aside. For those of you who have read my previous post, you should know that I was actually joining a group of photographers at the Bukit Jalil park. I reached quite early as the models themselves had not arrive.

Anyway, since there were 16 shooters and 3 models, we were asked to split into 3 groups. I was a little hesitant which group should I go at first when upon getting a naughty wink from Lyndie, I decided immediately to go with her! This proved to be a wise decision…

Lyndie was such a nice model to work with. She’s very friendly and was willing to try out a lot of positions which we requested. Although the sun was not very hot then but I know it wasn’t pleasant posing for hours with a reflector facing your face. She showed her professionalism by always showing us her sweet smiles!

After she changed into a different dress, I also changed lens. This time I tried Nikkor 50mm f1.8 and got these photos with better bokeh. Above was a candid shot, but I quite like it… especially her long eye lashes and bright eyes.

Here is another shot with the same lens which resulted in good blurry background with its large aperture.
Notice there is some blurred foreground leaves too which was done intentionally. I quite like the effect, not too sure about you. Do let me know what do you think.

Okay, that’s about it today. What shall I post next… perhaps Winnie Oh, or Phoebe Ling?
