IKEA towel hanger
Oct 27th, 2008 by Neo
I have taken a couple of days off from blogging because I needed a rest, and guess what, some readers begin to miss me and ask about my where abouts! Haha… anyway, I am still here and today let me show you what I have purchased from the infamous furniture store, IKEA.

Look, as with most furniture from IKEA, the pieces of the furniture were disassembled and nicely packed in a box. This make it easy to carry it back home. But once at home, it was our job to assemble and fix the pieces back together, and luckily they supplied an illustrated guide for this!

Not much words in the guide. It had a cute cartoon too…

Designed dunno where, made in China and sold in IKEA store, Mutiara Damansara, Malaysia!
Okay, seriously, the work of putting the pieces together was easier than solving a jigsaw puzzle. All I need was a screw driver for some of the screws. The rest of them are screwed in with an L-shaped driver which was supplied.

No hammering, no knocking and no drilling was needed. I completed it in about 20 minutes. Too much DIY work before this maybe?

Oh, I haven’t told you what I was fixing? It’s a simple towel hanger! It’s nothing too fancy but it works great! Now I have a place to hang my wet and dry towels,… well, properly. Very good, highly recommended and it cost RM49 only.

I’d assembled a few of Ikea furnitures… very easy yeah!
Nice towel hanger. I like Ikea’s design but I do think they lack quality and therefore I find it a little overpriced. Maybe that’s their strategy otherwise people won’t come back to replace their broken furnitures : )
I bought many things form Ikea, not all their things are over-priced, I do get something cheap there during sale. The biggest furniture me & my bf bought was a sofa, it tooks us hours to fix it :p
hang your towels on the clothes line lah, save money also!
