Plumbers on the top of my roof

You may have noticed that I am quite a DIY person. Looking back at my previous endeavors; I have assembled a towel hanger from IKEA by myself, planned, sourced for the proper materials and constructed a photography light box, and not to mention I have also managed to get a sexy plumber to repair the leaks at my roof! Haha…
But this time, the stupid roof leaks again and it’s at the very top of the roof… at the highest position. I am afraid my weak limbs would not be able to reach such heights and thus I had to resort to “professional” plumbers.
I know you will say the sky is nice and the house is nice. But please do not say that you stay next door, OK? – I don’t want to go and disturb you everyday. Hahaha…

There you are. Two chaps. The total damage for this fix was RM180! Yes, a whooping sum of money for fixing two leaks at the top of my house, and they did it in under 15 minutes!
Blame it on my weak limbs otherwise I could have done it at RM20 by getting the sealants from a local hardware store and did the repairing myself!
Anyway, that was the cheapest price already as others quoted me anywhere from RM250 to as high as RM350. It’s good to compare prices but make sure you ask them if they are going to charge you petrol and consultation cost or not (on the phone), if you decided to not let them do it. Oh yes, some could ask for as high as RM80 for petrol and consultation fee; if you decided it’s not worthy to let them do it.

Sometimes we have to leave to the professional to do it for something which we think we can easy learn do it by ourselves. Otherwise, how come all of them want to survive …ayoo yooo..So how was it now?

Don’t know, I can’t possibly climb up to check. Now, need to wait for big rain to come so that I know if the leaks are fixed or not. They give 3 months warranty.
Yaya.. Their charges are expensive.. Maybe because their works are danger? I mean cos they’ve to climb up and down do to works..
