Singaporeans would like to put the Ris Low phenomenon behind them, but the disgraced former Miss Singapore World 2009 is determined to ride the wave to stardom with or without the glittery frills. Apparently the embarrassing string of controversies that have plagued this 19 year old has not sent her scrambling into the rabbit hole, shying away from all possible social contact. Instead, it looks like she is cleverly using the bad rep to her advantage. Her exact sentiments revealed in an exclusive interview with MSN Singapore, “There is no such thing as bad publicity, just publicity.”

Ris Low may be ridiculed for her “talent” in coining absurd sounding slang words, but seems like “BOOMZ” and “SHINGZ” could be Singapore’s next “WAHLAU-EH”. Many were shockingly appalled when MSN gave Ris Low her very own blog series, whereby in the first series (make sure you click to see the Ris Low in person… so beautiful can die lar), she reveals her dream of opening an ice-cream parlor to spread joy and happiness into the lives of fellow Singaporeans. Awww…how SWEETZ…..

And most recently, guess which lucky beauty managed to grace the front cover of FHM Singapore? You guessed right! Again, the award goes to Miss Ris Low… the face of December 2009, adding on to her growing portfolio of titles:
