The craze of the moment is most definitely the recently-concluded Annual Academy Awards! With hundreds of stars appearing in their best for Hollywood’s most glamorous night of the year, we were on the spot to capture some of the most gorgeous women out there flaunting their perfect bodies in dazzling gowns and even more spectacular jewelry!

Truly, in terms of glitz and glamour on a single night, nothing comes close to the Oscars red carpet showcase! Platinum and silver were the color of choices this year, and boy did the girls sizzle or what!

The list of Hollywood’s most alluring and attractive women was led by Best Actress award winner Sandra Bullock, who defied her 45-year old age by looking utterly stunning in a shimmering gold-beaded gown that came with a sexy slit that displayed her perfectly toned legs! A deserving winner indeed, in more than one way!

Kate Winslet appeared alluringly gorgeous in a strapless column dress in silver from Yves St. Lauren, and she paraded the most outstanding piece of jewelry of the night, a Tiffany-designed white and yellow diamond pendant styled-necklace that is believed to be worth USD 2.5 million! If you had any doubts about how exclusive and glitzy the Academy Awards is, may this revelation eliminate that doubt immediately! And Kate is merely presenting this year, not even a nominee!

The ever-dazzling Penelope Cruz didn’t disappoint this year as well, looking absolutely beautiful in a brilliant deep red strapless pleated gown crafted by Donna Karan, and she matched it exquisitely with jewelry from Chopard. One of the most breathtaking women of the night, if not the most, without a shout of a doubt!

Sexy Cameron Diaz epitomized glamour and class brilliantly by wearing a gold-dusted gorgeous Oscar de la Renta gown to the award show, matching the gown perfectly with her beautifully curled locks and her stylish Cartier jewelry. Many tipped Miss Diaz as the best dressed at the Oscars this year, and I must admit that I agree!

The most glaring absentee was definitely Angelina Jolie, who apparently missed the award ceremony as she was too busy shooting in Paris. Well, we have little to complain, as in her absence, many other sexy young ones have taken up the mantle of being the best dressed at the Oscars!
