Drool-Worthy Beauty – Steph Song
Apr 22nd, 2010 by Frog Prince
While it’s admirable that the government shows concern about the brain drain problem and is trying to lure back doctors, surgeons and what-nots, I think they have overlooked the problem of talent and beauty-drain!
I mean, here we have Steph Song – a talented beauty who has received recognition for her TV and film work, born in Malaysia and I have not heard of her!
But, I have a solution – I’ll write about this drool-worthy beauty and share pictures of her that will get you hot under the collar. To start off, have a look at this picture of her in “Dim Sum Funeral” (which garnered her a Best Performance nomination):
Steph’s the one with long hair and the other girl is Bai Ling. For a better look, check out Steph in red-hot undies:
And for the faint-hearted, let me tone it down a bit with ‘pretty in pink’ pictures of her:
There now, has your heart beat slowed down a bit?
I feel these pictures show her ‘modelling’ side in which she got her start. But I’ll have you know that she is not the typical pretty face who sat around hoping to be discovered. Oh no! This gorgeous lady has a double degree in Journalism and Nursing (you can just picture her in a nurse’s uniform, can’t you?) – and then worked hard to launch a career in front of the camera.
And if her initial foray into acting sounds like big breaks to aspiring actresses, I guess you can’t keep a talented girl down. She landed leading roles in TV drama projects like First Touch”, “Concerto for a Bus Driver”, “Heartlanders”, “Love Poetry”, “Six Weeks”, and “Singapore Short Stories”. But it was in the sitcom “Achar!” that made her a household name. The sitcom won a bronze medal at the New York Television Awards and was sold to 10 countries.
Singaporeans must be heartbroken when she decided to move to North America where her acting career continues to blossom with Gemini and Leo Award nominations for ‘Best Performance by a Leading Actress’. She received the nominations for “Everything’s Gone Green”, “Dragon Boys” (where she learned to speak Khmer) and “i-Pod”. She even landed a part in Smallville!
And while it’s easy to just drool over her toned and super sexy bod (as evident by her being voted Asia FHM’s Sexiest Woman in the World 2006), I find it sexy that she is a ‘greenie’. That means she cares for Mother Earth and constantly exhorts others to also do something for the planet. We can certainly learn from this beauty.
