Beautiful Port Bouvard Homes
Nov 17th, 2010 by ll
Port Bouvard is in the city of Mandurah which is around an hour’s drive south of Perth. Mandurah is also the second largest city in Western Australia. In this area you will find some of the most beautiful canal homes in the world. Take a look at these photos and you will see what I mean.
The homes consist of both bungalows and mediterranean style terraces some of which have frontage to a canal which flows right into the Indian Ocean. The canal waters are crystal clear.

In the photo below, you will see a bridge. This joins to an island in the middle of the canal. Homes in the island are generally more exclusive compared to the ones in the mainland.

See the colors of these houses? Isn’t it vibrant and colorful? Top that off with the clear blue skies, your own private jetty and Riva boat and you get a lifestyle that is truly second to none on this earth.

And here’s the local real estate agent in Port Bouvard. This time I was nosey enough to go in and check out the prices.

This is a shot from one of the houses I visisted. It’s taken from the living room verandah which overlooks the canal.

This friendly pelican bird came up to greet me as I was checking out the place.

Here’s the living room of the villa. It is totally brand new and unfurnished. The home was developed some months ago and is still available on the market. It had a price tag of around A$730,000 but I’m pretty sure you can drive a much better deal in these times. The developer Port Bouvard Limited has been on a debt cutting drive recently after falling on hard times.

And a shot from the master bedroom…

This is the staircase going up to the third level which contains a rumpus or utility room. If I had this house, this level would be my gym and exercise studio for sure.

The houses come with undercover parking. There is a common entrance for the parking area and most units would have their own double lockup garage which is internally accessible from the house.
