HOTELS & RESORTS WHERE CELEBRITIES STAY
Jan 10th, 2011 by Frog Prince
If money is no object and you would like to live like a celebrity, try checking into one of the following hotels/resorts. Of course, you may need to bring your own posse of bikini-clad babes…
1) Necker Island
This slice of paradise is located in the British Virgin Islands and belongs to Sir Richard Branson. If you are big on privacy, then this is the place for you!
Instead of renting just one of the five Bali-style houses (which were built in Bali, dismantled and then transported to Necker Island), you can choose to rent the whole island. That is, if you do not mind shelling out USD 48,000 a night. Does that sound exotic enough for you?
This isn’t so bad since you get to enjoy stunning views of the ocean as you are being pampered by the staff. And of course, the price also includes meals and drinks which are prepared by the island’s chefs.
Hollywood celebrities who have stayed here include Mel Gibson, Oprah Winfrey and Steven Spielberg.

2) Banyan Tree, Seychelles
Banyan Tree manages luxury villas and 5-star hotels all over the world and checking into any one of them is certainly an experience of a lifetime.
Banyan Tree Seychelles is bit more special though as it’s nestled in Intendance Bay on Mahe island where you have powder-white sands, turquoise waters and colourful Creole culture.
Here, you have a choice of 60 villas to choose from, with each giving you magnificent vistas of the Indian Ocean. And with a price tag of USD 1,152 per person per night, I guess it’s definitely more affordable.
Word has it that Leonardo Dicaprio and Jennifer Connelly stayed here while shooting Blood Diamond.

3) Sunset Marquis Hotel & Villas
If you are more keen on being near the action than getting in touch with Mother Nature, one good choice is the Sunset Marquis Hotel and Villas which is located in West Hollywood. You can still get some privacy here and soak up some Hollywood vibe.
Signing your name on the guest book means you will be joining the likes of Britney Spears and Jennifer Aniston.
What is unique about this hotel is the in-house recording studio and private access through underground garage. Certainly handy for celebrities to avoid the paparazzi. Probably the best hotel to indulge your inner celebrity.

4) Burj Al Arab
For the ultimate hotel experience like no other, I would suggest the Burj Al Arab in Dubai. Officially rated as 5-Star deluxe, many has dubbed it the first 7-star hotel.
The service and level of luxury seen here is in its own class as guests can be driven around in a chauffeured Rolls Royce or BMW 7 or use the helicopter pad. The hotel also thoughtfully provides a reception desk on every floor for the guests’ convenience.
While you may not have your personal chef, you do get to choose from 8 different restaurants. Who knows, you may just be lucky enough to be seated next to a celebrity. Who have stayed here? Well, any celebrity worth his/her salt has!
