Cheap Singapore Accommodation at The InnCrowd Hostel

Singapore is not exactly a cheap place to stay and travel. But do some research and you will find some bargains to be had. I came across The InnCrowd Hostel while surfing for cheap singapore accommodation online.

After looking at their website, I must admit I had no confidence in this establishment. It reminds me of the free Geocities websites, ah… those good old days when nice free website templates didn’t exist. After pouring through the extensive text content in the website, I noticed that InnCrowd had a Google PR5 ranking! So that got me and I decided to book online…. anyway it was only S$20 per night for the bed, so what’s there to loose?

I’m glad I kept an open mind. While InnCrowd is definitely backpacker-type accommodation, I must say it’s one of the pleasant surprises in my Singapore trip. Since their website don’t show photos of their rooms, I’m taking the liberty of doing their job for them…. so here are some of the nicer shots for you to enjoy.

Leaving the hostel

Some of the photos look dark and gloomy, but that’s photoshop at work. My sister did that to create the feel. Actually the hostel was decent, clean and comfortable. The inn didn’t feel crowded at all hahaha! Forgive the pun and lame joke! There were a lot of nice people from all over the world including UK and Australia.

In case you have stumbled across The InnCrowd’s official website, don’t be put off by the Geocities design. It’s actually the hotel’s official website. I’m not sure why they don’t show photos of their rooms like all other hotels… maybe there are just too many beautiful hotels in Singapore and you don’t want to be comparing to them.
