World’s Largest Living Stamp

This one is not usable but it is a pretty one. It is the recreation of a stamp called Southern Dogface Butterfly by Stan Herd, an artist from Kansas.

He used plants and bits of nature to whip up a real-life imitation of the stamp. Now that’s breathing life into your artwork.

The Bhutan Talkie

Someone in Bhutan thought of a novel idea for a postage stamp. He thought, why don’t we issue a stamp in the form of a phonogram and make sure it has our national anthem in it?

And guess what? The postal folk really did that! Later on, they even released a few CDs that doubled as a postage stamps. My favorite one is the sights-and-sounds of Bhutan CD.

Yummiest Stamp in the World

Alright so that is misleading. This was not meant to be eaten but sniffed.

The Swiss Chocolate stamp was one of the world’s more popular ’smell’ stamps. Apparently it even came in a cute foil!

So, which stamp do you like the most? Perhaps the chocolate stamp? Or maybe the 1Malaysia stamp? Haha…

I have been wanting to post this up since last week, but every time I get my butt on the chair, something would get in the way… so, there has not been a post for many days. Anyway, let me bring you to Bukit Jalil Golf Club now and enjoy a tremendous wedding reception with an ex-colleague of mine.

Buckle up and we head of to our destination… the drive through LDP and Puchong-Sungai Besi bypass was pretty smooth as there were not much traffic on a Saturday evening.

But we were still late. I thought it’s a tradition for guests of wedding receptions in KL to come late… anyway, shown here are my ex-colleagues. Look at their happy faces, all very successful and some are happily married.

What shall I show you now. I am sure you are not interested in the food, as they were pretty ordinary… nothing to shout about. Can see them in any wedding dinners.

Oh, what about the most exciting moment of the day? Wahaha… the kissing part.

Much to the delight of the guests, their lips locked each other for quite a few moments. The MC announced that they will have to kiss as long as our toasting cheers lasted! Haha… that’s sure a very exciting moment to see them kissing… not too sure if they were frenching though.

Probably the groom was signaling, “no, don’t stop just yet… she tastes sweet…”

All right, all good things must come to an end. Kissing ended and it was quite a feat. Haha…

Let’s continue with the food for the night. Cheers.

Work doesn’t have to be dull and boring. Goof-ups and silly mistakes at your job can be the highlight of the day. And if you were really mean, you could include the useful little snippets in your little expose about work.

They must have had a field day talking about this. Can you imagine the buzz at work when this happened?

And what’s with the ‘pervy’ comment? Maybe this idiot knew his boss was gay and was uncomfortable in the first place? You know what they say… when the boss says “Jump!”, you say “I already did”.

You have to love the naive comment “You might not be comfortable going through others’ drawers but…”

Who is comfortable going through their boss’ nether regions? That peon probably walked away from that conversation with a traumatized expression on his face.

Every work should have a sign like this. Interesting how the boss took time out to color in the letters.

Anyway, this might be especially relevant to that first guy, you know the one who moaned about his boss being a perv?

Today, 3rd October, is the day which we celebrate the Moon Cake Festival, or also known as the Mid-Autumn Festival or Moon festival or Lantern Festival. Whichever name you call it, today is the 15th day of the 8th month of the Chinese lunar calendar.

We usually stay at home and savor the moon cakes with Chinese tea and etc, but today unfortunately I have a different arrangement. Wanna know where we will be going?…. later la, now we are late, have to rush a bit. Will talk about this arrangement at a different time…

At the meantime, do enjoy the roundest and brightest moon tonight! Happy Moon Cake Festival!

I don’t know why I would ever need a push-up robot for my home. Maybe it is the kiddy version of a gym buddy.

Except that this robot can go on even after both its arms fall off. And what’s with the crazy eyebrows?

P.S. If you are planning to buy this, please keep an axe under your bed. Hahaha…

Look-alike Robot

Aaah, but that’s not really like Skynet, you say?

Really? Then how do you explain this? An eccentric scientist in Japan has created a robot which, by the way, looks just like him.

Any robot wishing to take over their master’s identity usually have to worry about after-the-kill details… like getting a human face, nabbing the right features for the passport. Not this guy. He just went and made things easier for the eventual takeover.

As if that was not bad enough, they kept him in a lab and poked him in the face all day. Great job giving him a motive for wanting to escape.

She’s Gonna Get Ya

Ooooh, she looks harmless enough.

This is another invention from Japan and she’s called HRP-4C.

Seems normal and cute compared to the others. Apparently she’s going to be prepped up for the entertainment industry. Please keep her away from the drugs and drinks!

Cadbury Roast Almond, and Cadbury Fruit & Nut. Alright, they are not some real classy chocolates, but I still loved them… until I flipped them over and saw this…

Damn, expired! Both are expired… why these chocolates didn’t show up two months earlier and do you think I can still eat them?

The other day I posted some photos of a model whom I shot for Irenelim Fashion. Not surprisingly, I got a few comments and some requested I to post more. So, here you are.

Instead of the same boring corner, let me show you a shot of her and another girl, Jennifer. Ah, if I remembered her name correctly.

Both of the are not only pretty, but fast learners. We only gave them some basic guidance and they were able to pose in the proper angles to make it easier for us to bring out the features of each apparel.

I think I have posted too many photos of pretty girls and models on this blog. Now, I run out of names to name my pictures, until I have to name this one as “Young pretty girl”. Haha… but I think she deserves this, right? Young and no doubt beautiful.

Notice that Pennzoil Racing fan? It’s from my fan collection. I picked it up during the last Japan GT in Sepang.

We were a little reluctant to visit the Penang Toy Museum at first because well, we are all grown ups, so toys are not really in our wishlist. But then, we have also heard so much about this museum, it’s even reputed at the largest of its kind in the world where it houses thousands and thousands of toys, dolls and others fun collectibles. So, out of curiosity, we decided to play along.

Who knows, perhaps they have adult toys there too. Haha…

The entrance wasn’t free of course. But I have forgotten how much need to pay… But for Malaysians, just flash your identity card to pay less. Foreigner more loaded so have to pay more la.

Male and female are so different that some say they are different species! Okay, maybe this is exaggerating. But, researches show there are great differences in brain structure and formation in males and in females. Pictures speak a thousand words, let me show you these brain imaging to give us better understanding of the differences between the sexes.

The female brain! No wonder females think of shoes, always have headaches and can talk non stop! Hahaha… they are headache generators! OMG, their sex generator gland is so tiny…

The male brain is so much more interesting! Instead of generating headaches, males tend to think of SEX! Hohohohoh…
