I hate ants, who doesn’t hate ants?… If you treated them like pets then you must be a really weird person. Look how these big ants ravaged my car earlier this year. This time, they become more ganas and are trying to attack my home!

See what my girl did trying to avoid the ants feasting on our bread.

Haha, she thought she’s very creative and came up with this brilliant idea. But, I think this will only fool stupid ants only. She should have placed the cup in a plate of water because ants cannot swim mah… hahaha… I couldn’t control myself but laughed at her.

Anyway, there are so many ants in my house lately that I have to find a good solution quickly. I checked at the local DIY store and luckily they have a very cheap and easy solution: the ants powder.

It has been a while since I last brought you any performance or show captured from any shopping centers. This time in conjunction with the Mother’s Day celebration, we dropped by One Utama for lunch as well as some window shopping. We managed to check out the OSIM fair at the center court, and was glad they had some dance performances too.

Let me show you the girls first… I mean the performance.

Young, beautiful and simply energetic. Those were the youths of today! The music was great too! But, it was rather short and it ended with a blast.

Sometimes, you may want to purposely turn a colorful photo’s background into black and white tonnes, but leave the subject in the foreground in full color to produce some contrast. Of course, this will make the subject stand out more! This trick is especially good when we apply it on a picture of a pretty girl.

Let’s take one of the pictures I took during the recent PC Fair for example.

The above picture is the original, in striking colors. She’s a very beautiful girl, right? The background people are very disturbing, so we want to make them less obvious.

First, we need turn this picture into black and white. In Photoshop, go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Channel Mixer.

Just when I thought I have nothing to write again today, I realized I have neglected to show you our dinner which we had at Kuala Selangor after the unforgettable encounter with the Malawati Hill monkeys. What’s nice to eat in Kuala Selangor? Of course its exotic fresh seafood which is very famous here.

We were not sure which restaurant to go to though, but upon reaching the end of the road which we were on (not sure what’s the name), there were two large restaurants. One being River View Seafood Restaurant and the neighboring one is called Jeti Seafood. We decided to choose the Jeti Seafood as there were slightly more patrons.

This evening, an ex-girlfriend called me and invited me to have dinner with her together. This came really unexpectedly as we haven’t kept in touch for quite some time. But, since I didn’t have much to do I gladly agreed. At 5pm, I quickly finished my work in the office and gave some lame excused to leave the office early. My boss gave me some strange looks.

Anyway, instead of going to those expensive restaurants, I decided to have a romantic pizza dinner at her place! Hehehe…

In Malaysia, where else to get pizza if not Pizza Hut? Look at this newly introduced pizza combo which allows you to select two regular pizza. I opted for Island Supreme and Chicken Supreme.

I was shocked and nearly dropped off my chair when I saw these photos of Gemma Atkinson. People say she’s the daughter of Rowan Atkinson, the bumbling Mr Bean who causes havoc wherever he goes. Let me show you the photos, and you will understand why I was so shocked!

Wow, what a shocker! Look at her assets! She is so beautiful and sexy, so much difference from the hilarious and somewhat dumb Mr Bean! I know the real Rowan Atkinson is a very smart electrical engineering graduate, but you can’t help but find him dumb on the screen.

I love this local delicacy which is known as by many names, such as “yau ja gwai” or “youtioa”. Basically, these are fried oily doughs.

Bengbeng would like to see how many fans I have. What a weird fetish, but since today it’s Friday and I have nothing much to write… people call this a blogger’s block… I guess I will just grant his wish then. In Malaysia, it’s not surprising for a house to have tonnes of fans, even more natural for people like me who sweats buckets.

Trust me. I have three of the above fan in my living room alone. No that I have a big living room, but the three is necessary to cool down every corner of the place.

It’s a 5-blades remote-controlled fan. Made in China I guess. The problem with having 3 of them in the same room is that the signal from the remote control gets received by all the fans, and thus all of them will on and off at the same time. Unless of course if you turned their switch off at the main switch on the wall.

Yesterday, while having dinner at the F1 Restaurant, I asked if you are prepared to see some really playful monkeys. Well, I guess you listened to me and have all geared up to venture into Kuala Selangor to check out what monkeys are made of them.

It was a fine weekend and a few friends of mine wanted to drive to Kuala Selangor for what else but their famous seafood. But along the way, we detoured to Malawati Hill (locally known as Bukit Malawati) because we have heard so much about the playful monkeys there and had wanted to catch one or two home.

When we arrived at the Malawati Hill park, there was really a lot of monkeys roam freely. I think they have got used to seeing humans and they would not hesitate to come near you if you have food in your hand.

I certainly hope you have managed to try the F1 Restaurant which I introduced to you quite some time ago. Last time, this restaurant was located just beside the IOI Mall, and you would certainly not miss it as it was just along the LDP Highway. But later, they relocated inside the mall itself due to IOI Mall’s expansion in order to gain market shares from other bigger shopping malls such as One Utama and Sunway Pyramid… I guess.

However, we were a little surprised to find another F1 Restaurant in Bandar Puteri. Not too sure if this was the restaurant relocated from IOI Mall, or it’s merely a branch.

That’s their identity, striking red color; taking advantage of Ferrari’s lead in the F1 races perhaps. I believe the owner must be a big fan of Ferrari, certainly not McLaren.
